Artists Creating Together
Deploying a sustainable brand.
At the beginning of the branding project, we knew that it was essential to create a brand kit that would be concise, easy to use, and provide clear guidelines on how to apply the brand consistently across all channels. Since Artists Creating Together is a non-profit organization with mainly volunteer workers, the brand application lacked consistency and had a scattered look and feel.

To address this issue, we started by conducting a comprehensive audit of everything related to the brand, taking time to examine every aspect carefully. This process took a month, but we felt it was necessary to identify the problems that our solution needed to solve. By doing so, we were able to create a brand kit that would address these problems and provide clear guidelines for the organization to follow. Overall, the audit process proved to be a valuable exercise that helped us understand the challenges faced by Artists Creating Together. It allowed us to create a brand kit that would help the organization present a consistent look and feel across all channels, which is essential for building brand recognition and trust with its target audience.

Once the site map was created, my team and I proceeded to wire-framing and navigation exercises. It was crucial that the brand kit was easy to navigate and update. But we realized that what we had was too minimal, without the correct amount of guidelines.
What changed: More pages, more guidelines, and a navigation that allowed jumping around.
After wireframing, I moved to static prototypes on figma that also acted as a place for my team members to drop their updates on application. After presenting the static prototypes to the client, we learned that video tutorials were absolutely key for new members, and detailed guidelines were necessary as well

The team recorded video tutorials detailing the use of Canva and Wix, the two main software platforms utilized by the organization.

The brand identity page contains guidelines for typography, logos, photos, and more.

Users can gain a better understanding of how to apply the identity to a system by providing templates and application examples.
After storyboarding motion, I edited the teams videos in the ACT Brand.
